There is no universal fault code standard. The same number means different things on different brands — code 8 alone means six different things across these four inverters. Pick your device, or search every code at once.

EG4's 12kPV Device Monitoring & Settings Guide (v1.3.0) publishes the full specification but contains no fault or alarm code table — section 6.2.1 documents only the LED colours. Until EG4 publishes the code list, adding one here would mean guessing.
